Iranian Attack on Kuwait International Airport: Casualties and Extensive Damage

Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority announced today that several people were injured and critical airport infrastructure was damaged in an Iranian attack targeting the radar installation at Kuwait International Airport.

According to the Authority’s claims, the airport’s radar facilities and various equipment related to air traffic control were damaged in the attack. This is expected to disrupt aircraft operations and air traffic management.

Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated in a statement that they had targeted US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan in retaliation for recent American attacks. The IRGC claimed that 18 targets were hit in Kuwait during the operation.

This incident has further escalated ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Kuwaiti authorities have stated that they are taking emergency measures to assess the extent of the damage and restore normal airport operations.

However, independent verification of the claims made by Iran and other involved parties regarding the attack has not yet been possible.
