Fire Erupts in Multi-Storey Building in Dhanmondi 27

A fire has broken out in an Apex showroom located in Dhanmondi 27, the capital. Two units of the Fire Service have arrived at the scene and are actively working to bring the blaze under control.

The Fire Service received reports of the fire at 10:05 AM on Thursday (September 10).

Talha Bin Jasim, an official from the agency’s headquarters media cell, stated that the fire originated on the fifth and sixth floors of the Apex building, situated on the north side of the road in Dhanmondi 27, south of Meena Bazar. Fire Service personnel promptly reached the location and commenced operations to extinguish the fire.

Presently, two units from the Mohammadpur Fire Station are engaged in firefighting efforts. An additional four units have been dispatched to the scene.

As of now, there have been no reports of injuries or individuals being trapped due to the fire.
