A court has granted remand for interrogation to Gazi Nazrul Islam, MP for Satkhira-4 constituency, and his first wife Most. Maqsuda Islam, in connection with the case filed over the recovery of the hanging body of his second wife, Mariam Akter, from NAM Bhaban in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
On Monday (September 21), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Ehsanul Islam granted the remand application, approving four days for Gazi Nazrul Islam and one day for his wife Maqsuda Islam.
