The presale for LiquidChain (LIQUID), a Layer 3 network designed to unify liquidity across Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, has raised approximately $967,500 as it nears its first major $1 million milestone.

Solana (SOL) itself has cleared the $106 threshold, targeting immediate resistance at $110 and potentially $120, buoyed by Wednesday’s FOMC rate decision and a broader market lift. The global cryptocurrency market cap rose 2.15% to $2.67 trillion, with Bitcoin trading near $77,900 and the Fear and Greed Index indicating “Greed” at 66.

Beyond macroeconomic factors, Solana’s price action is supported by a significant mainnet upgrade. The network successfully implemented a 17% reduction in target slot times, dropping from 300 milliseconds to 250 milliseconds. This adjustment, paired with Tuesday’s transaction size increase, enhances throughput and reduces latency for decentralized applications.

Analyzing Solana’s SIMD-0525 Upgrade and the Road to $120

The transition to 250-millisecond slot times represents the latest milestone in Solana’s long-term optimization roadmap. Developers have systematically reduced slot times from 400ms to 350ms, then 300ms, and now to 250ms. Because the network’s epoch duration is fixed at 432,000 slots, epochs now complete in roughly 30 hours instead of 36. If network stability persists, developers may target a further reduction to 200ms.

Governed by Solana Improvement Proposal SIMD-0525, the upgrade scales down the compute limits and data allocation per slot to accommodate the faster block production rate. While more blocks are produced per second, each handles less computational weight. For end-users, this reduces transaction slippage and speeds up state updates across decentralized exchanges and wallets.

Market analysts view the technical upgrade as a strong fundamental catalyst. Derivatives trader Castillo highlighted a technical setup pointing to a potential medium-term target of $120.

LiquidChain: Resolving Liquidity Fragmentation Across L1 Ecosystems

As Solana optimizes its internal execution speed, the broader market continues to face liquidity fragmentation. LiquidChain (LIQUID) addresses this by operating as a Layer 3 platform that pools native assets from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana into a single execution environment. Rather than relying on wrapped tokens, LiquidChain utilizes cross-chain proofs to settle transactions atomically across all three networks, running on a Solana-class virtual machine.

This architecture leverages Solana’s low latency to process multi-chain trades. By routing transactions through a unified virtual machine, developers can deploy applications that access liquidity across all three major ecosystems simultaneously, bypassing traditional, exploit-prone bridging mechanisms.

LIQUID Tokenomics and Presale Structure

The LIQUID token serves as the utility and governance asset of the LiquidChain network, used for transaction fees, staking, and protocol decisions. The total supply is capped at 11,800,000,100 tokens, distributed as follows:

  • 35%: Protocol Development
  • 32.5%: LiquidLabs
  • 15%: AquaVault
  • 10%: Community Rewards
  • 7.5%: Growth and Exchange Listings
