47th BCS Final Results Published

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the final results of the 47th Civil Service (BCS) examination. The results were released on the PSC’s website on Sunday (June 28).

According to the published results, a total of 1,521 candidates have been provisionally recommended or nominated for final appointment in the 47th BCS; this includes 1,320 individuals in various cadres and 201 for non-cadre positions.

The PSC had published the circular for the 47th BCS on November 28, 2024. The preliminary examination for the 47th BCS was held on September 19, 2025. The PSC set a record by publishing the results just nine days after the examination.

The written examination was held simultaneously in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh from November 27 to December 18 of the same year.
