Iran-US Technical Discussions to Begin in Switzerland, Mediated by Pakistan and Qatar

Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that technical-level discussions between Iran and the United States will take place next Sunday in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.

A statement from the ministry said, “As the next step following the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, these technical-level discussions will be held on June 21 in Switzerland.”

The statement further mentioned that mediators from Pakistan and Qatar will also participate in the discussions. They will be engaged in talks with representatives from the United States and Iran.

This meeting is viewed as an important step in the ongoing diplomatic progress between the two countries.
