The government has brought about a significant reshuffle in the Bangladesh Police. The decision regarding these changes was announced through three separate gazette notifications issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday (September 22). As a result of this new order, a total of 31 officers, including DIGs, Additional DIGs, and Superintendents of Police, are receiving new responsibilities.
DIG of Highway Police, Habibur Rahman Khan, has been transferred as Commandant to the Police Traffic and Driving School (TDS). Mohammad Enamul Haque, who was promoted as Supernumerary DIG, has been transferred from Sylhet Metropolitan to Khagrachhari APBN and Special Training Center. Paritosh Ghosh, previously in that position, has been transferred to the Chittagong Hill Tracts District APBN office.
Additional DIG of SB, Anisur Rahman, has been attached to Khulna Range, while Additional DIG Gias Uddin Ahmed, who was an OSD (Officer on Special Duty) at the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been attached to Rangpur Range.
Additionally, Additional DIGs, Superintendents of Police, and Additional Superintendents of Police, who were promoted as Supernumerary, are also included in the transfer list.
