Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended birthday wishes to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He conveyed these greetings in a message posted on Thursday (September 17) night from the official Facebook page of ‘PMO Bangladesh’, the Prime Minister’s Office.
In his message, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman wished Narendra Modi a long life and good health, stating, ‘Warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. May this special day return repeatedly. May your dedicated service to the people of India always be blessed with good health and high spirits.’
The Prime Minister’s Office Facebook post featured a card with Narendra Modi’s photo, conveying the birthday wishes.
Within half an hour of this post, Narendra Modi thanked the Bangladeshi Prime Minister. Sharing Tarique Rahman’s post on X, the Indian Prime Minister wrote, ‘Thank you, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, for your sincere good wishes. I deeply value your kind words.’
It is noteworthy that Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat. Active in politics from a young age, Modi first took office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in October 2001.
His successful political career began thereafter. After skillfully governing the state for 13 years, he was elected Prime Minister of India in 2014 with overwhelming public support. He is currently serving his third consecutive term as the head of government of the country.
