Worldwide Facebook Disruption – Bangla Online News Portal

On Friday, June 12, many users of the world’s popular social media platform Facebook experienced disruptions in service due to temporary technical issues. Users from various countries reported difficulties loading news feeds, viewing posts, commenting, and in some cases, accessing their accounts.

A large number of complaints were submitted in a short period on outage monitoring platforms. Many users took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share their experiences with Facebook’s issues and inquire if it was a global outage.

Facebook’s parent company, Meta (about.meta.com), did not provide an immediate official explanation regarding the incident. However, some users later reported that services were gradually returning to normal on both mobile and desktop platforms.

According to technology analysts, such outages are typically caused by server configuration issues, network problems, or internal technical glitches. Similar temporary service disruptions have occurred in the past with Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Users were advised that if they encounter problems, they should try updating the app, logging out and logging back in, or waiting for some time before trying again. In most cases, services normalize once such global technical issues are resolved by the company.
